The TS0862 Smart Door Controller is a low cost, compact door controller that performs all the functions necessary to control the operation of a single door. It is compatible with the TS0861 Magnetic Swipe Card Reader and Wiegand format readers. The TS0898 is ideal as a single-door controller for Wiegand-format biometric devices such as fingerprint readers. The TS0862 interface device provides a dedicated relay for access control applications, as well as a request-toexit (RTE) input. The unit provides a tamper input, as well as LED indicators for communication between the device and the control panel. Onboard open collector outputs are used to control the reader LED, as well as sounding the beeper. Features Request-to-exit (RTE) input Includes one relay for unlocking a door Provides reader LED control Up to 20 user cards can be stored into the TS0862’s onboard memory. Access control for these 20 users is maintained even if the TS0862 loses communication with the control panel. The TS0862 may be connected to the RS-485 data bus for either a Challenger panel or an Intelligent Access Controller, and is polled as a remote arming station (RAS)
