Despite its ultra-compact and lightweight body (approx. 45 g), the HX-A1 is designed to withstand severe environments. Uniquely shaped, the cylindrical camera can be worn in many positions to suit a variety of shooting environments and conditions.

Don’t Let the Dark Stop You
Using an IR light (commercially-available) and Glasscover (Night mode), you won’t miss details even when it’s too dark to see, such as nocturnal wildlife in the depths of forests. Due to the camera’s size and weight the only thing you’ll notice is the load of a heavy head light.

Use the Panasonic Image app on a smartphone or tablet to check that you have the perfect shooting angle or directly upload images to photo-sharing sites.
“Wireless Twin Camera” Turn Your HX-A1 into a Sub-Camera
Use Wi-Fi to connect to any Panasonic camcorder (released 2015 onwards) for viewing and combined recording in a sub-window as you shoot footage displayed in the camcorder’s main window. Unleash your creativity by combining different subjects into one video or capture the same subject from different angles to add your own unique style.
Use as a Webcam
You can also use the HX-A1 as a computer webcam when connected via USB. Using a Head Mount,you can share the sights you have seen with your friends.
Shooting Function
Slow Motion Video
The HX-A1 captures every detail, even in fast-moving scenes. At 1280×720 pixel, the camera records at 60 fps (double the normal frame rate), and at 848×480 pixel, records at 120 fps (quadruple-speed).
Loop Recording
When recording for longer than one hour, loop recording mode retains the most recent scenes by erasing earlier scenes. The camera keeps recording seamlessly by managing video in two-minute segments.

Attaches to goggles or a shoulder bag. Can also be attached to helmets, using double-sided tape.
