Basic Functions
3LCD Technology
All Epson projectors are based on 3-chip LCD technology for amazing colour, incredible detail and solid reliability. 3LCD's 3-chip architecture dedicates an entire chip to process each primary colour – red, green and blue, continuously. Unlike single-chip technology that delivers colour sequentially, you get full-time colour. The result is vibrant, realistic imagery and video all delivered with 3LCD's true-to-life colour.
Up to 3x Brighter with Epson Projectors*
Epson projectors use 3LCD Engines that have no colour wheel with a white segment and therefore don't force a tradeoff between white and colour brightness.
All Epson projectors list both White Brightness and Colour Brightness specifications, and all have high Colour Brightness.
In fact, Epson projectors have up to 3x Brighter Colours than their leading competitive 1-chip DLP projectors*. If you are looking for business and education projectors or 720p home entertainment projectors, know that choosing Epson projectors means up to 3x brighter colours. If you are looking for 1080p home entertainment projectors, you consistently get 2x and up to 3x Brighter Colours than competitor 1-chip DLP projectors*.
Compared to leading 1-chip DLP business and education projectors based on NPD data, July 2011 through June 2012. Colour brightness (colour light output) measured in accordance with IDMS 15.4. Colour brightness will vary depending on usage conditions.
Higher Brightness
With brightness up to 3300 lumens (selected models), the screen is easily viewed from anywhere in the classroom, even without dimming the lights.
Ultra Short Throw Benefits
Bigger Image
The ultra-short throw allows the projector to be positioned closer to the screen for reduced shadowing. This model can fill an 80-inch screen from just 47cm away.
Significantly Reduced Shadow Interference
You no longer need to worry about obscuring the information on screen with shadows cast by your body.
Non-Blinding
Even when you stand directly in front of the screen, the light rarely reaches your face. With no glare in your eyes, you'll find it far more pleasant and stress-free to be out front when using the projector.
Classroom Friendly Design
These Ultra Short Throw projectors are designed to blend in with office or classroom surroundings, even when wall mounted. The setting plate and cable cover keep cables out of sight.
Wide Ranging Interface
Not only does the wide-ranging interface correspond with conventional analogue sources, it is compatible with two types of HDMI sources as well for digital connections.
One of the HDMI input terminals is MHL (Mobile High Definition Link) certified for mirroring of Android and other mobile devices.
Mobile Device Compatibility
Using the optional wireless card in conjunction with Epson's iProjection app, you can also display and control content from your iPad, iPhone, iPod and Android devices.
Find out how to set up your Epson iProjection app and learn more about your projector and device compatibility, visit Epson.com.au/iprojection.
EASY INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE
Cloning Function
When dealing with multiple projectors, it is now possible to copy the OSD menu settings for things like user logos or colour modes and transfer the settings to multiple machines via USB/network. This function will help reduce set-up and installation time.
Easy Installation and Adjustment
Epson's original mounting plate has been re-designed for improved installation and set-up. For fine adjustment, all six axes can be individually corrected using the adjustment dials on the plate. Improvements on the mounting plate include larger cable cutouts, center line indicator and ruler on both sides of the mounting arm.
Lamp Regulator Function
This newly added function automatically adjusts image brightness according to ambient light levels and image content. This feature helps reduce the load on the lamp and conserves electricity.
Table Top Projection
These projectors can also project vertically downward, enabling users to transform any table top into a viewing surface. By utilising the optional ELP-MB29 table mount, an ordinary table becomes an exciting surface.
Longer Lamp Life
The long 10,000 hours lamp life# saves time and money by reducing the frequency of costly lamp replacements. When you do need to replace the lamp, it will only cost $79 inc GST.
Periodic cleaning allows Epson projectors to be used for much longer intervals. The maintenance cycle for the air filter is approximately 5000 hours.

3LCD Technology
All Epson projectors are based on 3-chip LCD technology for amazing colour, incredible detail and solid reliability. 3LCD's 3-chip architecture dedicates an entire chip to process each primary colour red, green and blue, continuously. Unlike single-chip technology that delivers colour sequentially, you get full-time colour. The result is vibrant, realistic imagery and video all delivered with 3LCD's true-to-life colour.
Up to 3x Brighter with Epson Projectors

Periodic cleaning allows Epson projectors to be used for much longer intervals. The maintenance cycle for the air filter is approximately 5000 hours.

The Twin Camera Doubles Your Fun
The Twin Camera records two scenes at the same time and doubles your fun. Record your precious memories with the premium picutre quality from the world's first * 4-Drive Lens System and improved Level Shot Function.
Overview
Highlights
The Twin Camera Doubles Your Fun
Which do you want to capture? Lovable animals at play or the ear-to-ear smiles of your children watching them? Until now, you had to choose only one, but the Twin Camera gives you both. And the sub camera can shoot at any angle you want. See how much fun dual shooting can be.
Twin Camera Function
This model Series includes a rotatable sub camera. Parallel 2-system processing with the Crystal Engine PRO+ lets you shoot from the side or rear at the same time.
You can catch a shot of someone at the side, a self portrait, or both a tele and wide-angle shot from the front. The sub camera records into a sub window, which you can move by dragging & dropping.
Premium Picture Quality
An all-new lens, sensor and engine combine for powerful zooming and high sensitivity.
Level Shot Function
The Level Shot function automatically detects and corrects the tilting of captured images. 2014 models use hybrid processing based on an acceleration sensor plus a gyro sensor to improve tilt tracking by 30% for more stable shooting. Images are more level even when shooting in an unstable or awkward position, such as low angle or high angle.
Baby Monitor
Using Wi-Fi, you can check on the baby with a smartphone or tablet in another room. The Push Notification function alerts the smartphone or tablet if a voice sensor detects the baby waking up and making a sound, and you can even speak to the baby over the monitor.
Image Quality
4-Drive Lens System
For the first time* in a consumer video camera, four lens groups are driven to achieve both high picture quality and a compact size.
New BSI Sensor
The effective area is increased* to achieve the high image quality of 6.03M effective pixels. This gives you bright, beautiful shots even in dark places.
Compared to the HC-V720.
Crystal Engine Pro+
The information processing speed has advanced to about 1.5 times* the conventional speed. New Noise Reduction has reduced noise for crisp, vibrantly colorful Full-HD images.
Intelligent 50x Zoom / Optical 20x Zoom
The wide shooting range expands the breadth of photographic expression, extending from 29.5mm wide angle to Intelligent 50x zooming. This makes it possible to capture everything from panoramic scenery to telephoto images for obtaining dynamic images of subjects at a distance.
5-Axis HYBRID O.I.S.+
HYBRID O.I.S. + uses five-axis correction to thoroughly suppress blurring all the way from wide-angle to powerful zoom shots. This lets you capture crisp, clear images, without blurring, in almost every shooting situation.
High Quality Sound Recording
Wind Shield Zoom Microphone
A special damping material is provided in the space between the mic and the mic net to suppress wind noise to less than 1/3 that of conventional models*, for clear recording always.
Compared to the HC-V720 Series.
High-Quality Audio Parts
Four 6mm-diameter, high-S/N mics and aluminum electrolytic capacitors reduce sound distortion and increase clarity.

Full-HD Slow Motion Video
Records Full-HD (1920 x 1080) at 120 fps.* And the Intelligent Frame Creation of the New Crystal Engine Pro+ interpolates to an equivalent of 240 fps,* for smooth slow motion. Switches to slow motion while you touch the icon on the LCD screen during shooting.
For NTSC area:60/120/240fps For PAL area:50/100/200fps
Night Mode
Infrared rays and IR-LED lighting let you shoot in the dark (0 lux). You can capture nighttime images without waking the baby up.
