Panasonic PT-DZ870EK DLP Projector - 1920x1200, 8500 Lumens, 10,000;1, 3000Hrs, VGA, HDMI, RJ45 :: PT-DZ870EKPT-DZ870EK1-Chip DLP Projector 8,500 Lumens WUXGA Overview Vivid Picture Quality With High Brightness The new PT-DZ870EK Series features many of the advanced functions in Panasonic’s flagship 3-chip DLP™ Projectors. With its superior performance and expanded application flexibility, the Series will set a new standard for 1-chip DLP™ Projectors. Bright 8,500 lm From a Compact Body
A unique Dual Lamp drive system has helped to make the body compact, while two newly developed, high output, 420 W Lamps provide high brightness of 8,500 lm.
Dynamic Iris For A High 10,000:1* Contrast Ratio
Panasonic’s Dynamic Iris uses a scene-linking aperture mechanism to achieve a remarkable 10,000:1* contrast without lowering its high brightness. This helps to reproduce deeper, richer blacks, and provides images with more detailed textures. The New Dynamic RGB Booster Enhances Both Brightness And Colour Reprodction
Panasonic’s RGB Booster achieves high image quality with levels of colour reproduction and brightness that make each colour stand out. It combines Panasonic’s proprietary Vivid Colour Control technology with a Lamp Modulation Drive System for a 1-chip DLP™ Projector that produces bright and vivid colours. This has been further advanced in the PT-DZ870EK Projectors with the development of the Dynamic RGB Booster. Images are analysed frame by frame, and scene-linking and real time modulation are used to achieve high brightness and vivid colour reproduction. Conventional System
Because the Lamp power was fixed, colour reproduction was enhanced by sacrificing brightness. Dynamic RGB Booster
Images are analysed frame by frame, and the Lamp output is modulated to match each scene. This achieves optimal brightness and colour reproduction for a wide variety of scenes. Lamp Modulation Drive System
With the advanced Lamp Modulation technology, the Projector is able to control the Lamp intensity for each of the red, green, blue, and white segments of the colour wheel separately. Because the actual light output is controlled in relation to each colour segment, light usage is optimised and colour balance is obtained without lowering the brightness. This results in bright vivid images with increased colour fidelity. Detail Clarity Process 3 Gives Natural Clarity To Even The Finest Details
This unique Panasonic circuit optimises the sharpness of each image, based on the super high, high, medium, and low frequency components of the extracted image information. The resulting images have a more natural, lifelike expression. System Daylight View 2 for Enhanced Colour Perception
This unique Panasonic technology optimises image quality to improve the colour perception of the projected image in bright rooms. With a brightness of 8,500 lm, it provides highly comfortable viewing even in bright lighting, and allows viewers to concentrate easily on the images. DICOM Simulation Mode
This imaging mode is similar to DICOM Part 14, which is a medical imaging standard. It reproduces x-ray images with remarkable clarity.
This product is not a medical instrument. Do not use it for actual medical diagnosis. Rec,709 Mode For HDTV Projection
Optimal colour reproduction can be achieved by selecting this mode, compliant with ITU-R Recommendation BT.709, when images from an HDTV source are projected. Waveform Monitor Function
When the output level of the source device fluctuates due to the performance of the device or its cable connections, the original black and white levels of the image content cannot be reproduced correctly. With the PT-DZ870EK Series Projector you can view the waveforms on the screen and adjust the settings either automatically or manually as you prefer. Full-HD Ready WUXGA Resolution
The PT-DZ870EK features native WUXGA resolution for Full HD viewing. This brings you lifelike projection of intricate, highly detailed images.
Advanced Technologies For Excellent Image Quality
3D Colour Management System Full 10-bit Image Processing Progressive Cinema Scan (3:2 Pull Down) Dynamic Sharpness Control Digital Noise Reduction IP Conversion AI Scene Control 2:2 Pull Down Mode sRGB Compatibility Panasonic's Original Dual Lamp System
This system eliminates the interruption if a Lamp should fail (in Dual-Lamp operation mode). The Lamp Relay mode also operates the Lamps alternately to enable 24/7 projection.*
If the Projector is to be operated continuously 24 hours a day / 7 days a week, use the Dual-Lamp optical system’s alternating Lamp operation (lamp changer) function. The Projector cannot be operated continuously 24 hours a day / 7 days a week in Dual-Lamp mode. Allow a minimum of two hours per week of non-operation time per Lamp if using the Dual-Lamp mode. Long Lamp Life Contributes To Low TCO
The PT-DZ870EK Series Projectors lower the total cost of ownership because they have a Lamp replacement cycle of up to 4,000 hours.*
With the LAMP POWER set to ECO mode in Dual Lamp operation. The usage environment affects the Lamp replacement cycle. Filter Less Dust Resistant Optical Engine
A Heat Pipe Cooling System Maintains Stable Operation up to 45°C
A new optical cooling system featuring a heat pipe block suppresses temperature rises inside the Projector and allows stable operation up to an ambient temperature of 45°C (113°F).* The use of this heat pipe cooling system also achieves quiet operation, enabling viewers to concentrate on the presentation or on quiet movie scenes.
The operating temperature range is 0°C to 45°C (32°F to 113°F) when used in locations from 1,400 m to 2,700 m (4,953 ft to 8,858 ft) above sea level. If the ambient temperature exceeds 35°C (95°F), the light output may be reduced to protect the Projector.
Dust Resistant Optical Block
The optical block, the heart of the Projector, is hermetically sealed to resist the effects of dust and other particles in the air, which makes it possible to remove the Air Filters for optics. It also contributes to the low TCO. Easy Lamp Replacement
For easier maintenance, you can replace the Lamp from the rear. This makes it easy to replace a Lamp unit while the Projector is still in the mounting bracket or dual stacked.
The Lamp Filter must be replaced at the same time as the Lamp. DIGITAL LINK Transmits Digital Signals up to 100m (320ft) With A Single Cable
DIGITAL LINK - The Single Cable Solution
Equipped with a DIGITAL LINK terminal, the PT-DZ870EK Series allows transmission of HDMI, uncompressed HD digital video and control signals (Ethernet, RS-232C) for up to 100 metres (328 feet) through a single CAT5e (STP) cable or higher. This simplifies cabling and system upgrades, making it ideal for ceiling mounted and other permanent installations.
Note: Audio signals cannot be transmitted because the PT-DZ870EK Series has no speaker or audio output terminal. Optional ET-YFB100G Digital Interface Box for Easy Setup
By combining the optional ET-YFB100G Digital Interface Box, with its HDMI and other input terminals, uncompressed HD digital video and control signals can be transmitted up to 100 m (328 feet) over a single CAT5e (STP) cable or higher. It allows Projector connection with only one cable, making it ideal for ceiling mounted and other permanent installations.
Also, because control signals can be simultaneously transmitted, the ET-YFB100G input signal can easily be switched with the wireless Remote Control that is included with the Projector. The Projector can be controlled by either serial or LAN communication. Also Supports Other Manufacturers’ Peripheral Equipment
DIGITAL LINK is an original function added to technology based on the transmission standards used in Crestron’s DigitalMedia 8G+, Extron’s XTP Systems, etc. Used together with the new ET-YFB100G Digital Interface Box, or other compatible equipment, the installation of this Projector is easier than ever, without any need for external receivers. Art-Net* Compatible
The PT-DZ870EK Series Projector is compatible with the Art-Net protocol for lighting management.
Art-Net compatibility lets you connect the Projector to the lighting console, and operate functions such as shutter on/off, input change, power on/off, etc., together with the light control.
Art-Net is a protocol for transmitting the lighting control protocol DMX512 over the Ethernet. Multi-Screen Support System Seamlessly Connects Multiple Screens
The Multi-Screen Support System optimally adjusts multiple screens: Edge Blending, Colour Matching and Multi-Screen Processor.
Edge Blending
The edges of adjacent screens can be blended and their luminance controlled.
Colour Matching
This function corrects for slight variations in the colour reproduction range of individual Projectors. The PC software assures easy, accurate control.
Multi-Screen Processor
The PT-DZ870EK Series Projectors can project large, multi-screen images without any additional equipment. Up to 100 units (10 x 10) can be edge-blended at a time. Multi-Unit Brightness Control
This function automatically corrects the brightness fluctuations that occur over time in the individual Projectors of a multi-screen system. Up to eight Projectors can be controlled by connecting to each other via a hub, and this can be increased to a maximum of 2,048 Projectors by using Multi-Unit Brightness Control Geometric Adjustment For Specially Shaped Screens (PT-DZ870EK)
This function adjusts the image for projection onto spherical, cylindrical and other specially shaped screens. You can make the adjustment easily using only the Remote Control, with no external equipment needed. New 4-Corner Adjustment and Keep Aspect Off functions also simplify fine adjustment. Optional Upgrade Kit (ET-UK20) Featuring Geometry Manager Pro (PT-DZ870EK)
The new Geometry Manager Pro software included in the optional upgrade kit ET-UK20 supports Colour Matching, Edge Blending, Uniformity Correction, and other useful functions for Multi-Projector set ups (max. 32 units). It also allows creative masking using four lines or bitmap data. And its flexible and complex geometric adjustment capability suits a wide variety of screen shapes. Active 3D Projection Capability
The series is compatible with both passive and active 3D projection systems. It combines with either a separate, external 100/120/144 Hz drive with IR emitter and active shutter glasses, or an active filter and passive glasses, for viewing 3D images. Active 3D Projection Capability
Frame Sequential Images for each of the left and right eyes are transmitted, alternately at the rate of 60 frames per second.
Frame Packing Images for the left and right eyes are transmitted in one frame, while the resolution for each remains as it is.
Side by Side Images for the left and right eyes are transmitted in one frame, while horizontal resolution is reduced by half.
Top and Bottom Images for the left and right eyes are transmitted in one frame, while the vertical resolution is reduced by half.
Line by Line Images for the left and right eyes are allocated, to odd numbered lines and even numbered lines.
Simultaneous Images for the left and right eyes are transmitted by using two cables. Flexible Installation
The wide adjustment range of the powered horizontal / vertical lens shift function can be easily adjusted with the Remote Control. The unit can also be rotated 360° vertically, to accommodate various installation conditions. The lens centered design contributes to easy installation. Portrait Mode Capability (optional)
Portrait projection is possible by mounting the optional ET-LAD120P or ET-LAD120PW Lamp units, updating the Projector's firmware to MAIN Ver. 2.00 or later, and installing the Projector with its terminal side surface facing downward. Portrait mode adds more solutions for projection mapping, staging, and other needs.
Note: Please contact your sales representative for information on portrait orientation. (Contact Information)

NOTES ON USE |
1. Do not install the projector in locations
that are subject to excessive water, humidity, steam, or oily smoke.
Doing so may result in fire, malfunction, or electric shock.
2. The projector uses a high-voltage mercury lamp that contains high
internal pressure. This lamp may break, emitting a loud sound, or fail
to illuminate, due to impact or extended use.
3. The projector uses a high-wattage lamp that becomes very hot during operation. Please observe the following precautions:
• Never place objects on top of the projector while it is in operation.
• Make sure there is an unobstructed space of 500 mm (19-11/16 in) or more around the projector's exhaust openings.
• Do not stack projector units directly on top of one another for
the purpose of multiple (stacked) projection. When stacking projector
units, be sure to provide the amount of space indicated between them.
These space requirements also apply to installation where only one
projector unit is operating at one time and the other unit is used as a
backup.
• If the projector is placed in a box or enclosure, the temperature
of the air surrounding the projector must be between 0 °C (32 °F) and 40
°C (104 °F). Also, make sure the projector's intake and exhaust
openings are not blocked. Take particular care to ensure that hot air
from the exhaust openings is not sucked into the intake.
4. If the projector is to be operated continuously 24 hours a day / 7
days a week, use the multi-lamp optical system's alternating lamp
operation function (Lamp Relay mode). The projector can be operated
continuously 24 hours a day / 7 days a week in dual-lamp operation mode.
Allow a minimum of two hours per week of non-operation time per lamp if
using the dual-lamp operation mode.
5. The lamp replacement cycle duration becomes shorter if the projector is operated repeatedly for short periods.
• The length of time that it takes for the lamp to break or fail to
illuminate varies greatly depending on individual lamp characteristics
and usage conditions.
• The brightness of the lamp will gradually decrease with use.
• The usage environment affects the lamp replacement cycle.
6. Because the ET-DLE055/DLE030 is a fixed short-throw lens, the lens shift function cannot be used with it.
7. Due to natural characteristics of lamps, screen brightness may
vary (flicker). This is not an indication of faulty lamp performance. |

Also, because control signals can be simultaneously transmitted, the ET-YFB100G input signal can easily be switched with the wireless remote control that is included with the projector. The projector can be controlled by either serial or LAN communication. Also Supports Other Manufacturers' Peripheral EquipmentDIGITAL LINK is an original function added to technology based on the transmission standards used in Crestron’s DigitalMedia 8G+, Extron’s XTP Systems, etc. Signals from the ET-YFB100G can also be relayed to a non-DIGITAL LINK-ready projector by using another manufacturer’s equipment based on the same technology.* Input selection and other ET-YFB100G operations can be performed only when connecting to a DIGITAL LINK compatible projector. Flexible InstallationThe wide adjustment range of the powered horizontal/vertical lens shift function assures convenience and versatility during installation. It lets you easily make adjustments with the remote control. The unit can also be rotated 360 degrees vertically. This means you can install it at any angle you want, to accommodate different installation conditions. A Wide Selection of Optional Lenses
Choose from a wide lineup of optional lenses for your system, including short-throw, long-throw zoom and fixed- throw lenses for rear projection use. The additional lenses make it easy to adapt your projector to the installation site. The lenses attach and detach with one-touch ease.
Easy Remote Monitoring and Control over a LAN
Web browser on a computer connected through a wired LAN system lets you remotely operate projectors and check their status. An e-mail messaging function can also notify you when a lamp needs replacement, and indicate the overall projector status.
In addition, Multi Projector Monitoring and Control Software is available for monitoring and controlling multiple Panasonic projectors from a single PC.
The wired LAN terminal is compatible with PJLink™ (class1), an open protocol that is used by many manufacturers, to enable integrated control of systems that contain different brands of projectors.
Crestron Connected and AMX Device Discovery
The LAN terminal allows a computer connected to the network to use Crestron Connected™ application software to manage and control system devices. Besides, the AMX Device Discovery technology is built in the PT-EZ770 Series.
Mechanical Lens Shutter
The mechanical lens shutter completely blocks annoying light leakage when the projector is on standby or temporarily not in use, such as during a meeting. Corner Keystone Correction Enables Angled Projection
All you need to do is designate four points as the corners of the projected image, and this function easily carries out horizontal and vertical keystone correction.
Lens-Centered Design
A lens-centered, symmetrical design provides ease of installation, eliminating the need for any special considerations when planning the installation site.
Abundant Terminals, Including HDMI, DVI-D Input, and DisplayPort
Extensive interfaces include HDMI and DVI-D input terminals, DisplayPort, DIGITAL LINK and two sets of computer (RGB) input terminals.* The serial terminal (RS-232C) has an Emulate function that lets you continue using existing control systems when replacing previous Panasonic models. It is also possible to output audio during Standby mode. This is convenient when connecting an external audio system through the projector.

Lower Maintenance and Running Costs A Dust-Resistant Cabinet Design and an Eco Filter that Needs No Replacement for 15,000 Hours
The cabinet is designed with a straight airflow path, from intake to exhaust. The shielding of the lens section, where dust is likely to enter, has been further improved to keep dust out. And the sealing performance of the air filter unit and air intake duct has been increased to prevent the entry of dust from the filter periphery, resulting in a highly dust-resistant structure.
The Eco Filter unit, which efficiently captures dust in the intake airflow path, requires no replacement for up to15,000 hours.* This large, pleated Micro Cut Filter (electrostatic filter) uses an ion effect to trap minute dust particles, further raising the overall dust-trapping capability. These features minimize the entry of dust into the optical block and maintain brightness over a long period of time, while reducing the hassle of maintenance. Also, in addition to achieving a long replacement cycle, the Eco Filter can be washed with water** and reused as an environmental consideration.
The usage environment affects the duration of the filter.
When washing with water, please follow the procedures listed in the operating instructions. Also, we recommend replacing the filter with a new one after it has been washed and reused twice. If the filter is not sufficiently clean after washing, replace it with a new one. Lamp Replacement Cycle of up to 4,500hours
The PT-EZ770 Series projectors feature a lamp replacement cycle of up to 4,500 hours. This helps to lower operating costs by providing longer usage between lamp replacements.
This is the maximum value when the lamp power is set to Eco2. Increases in the lamp on cycle or extended use with the lamp continuously turned on will shorten the lamp replacement cycle. When the lamp power is set to Eco1, the lamp replacement cycle is 4,000 hours and 3,000 hours when setting to Normal. The usage environment affects the lamp replacement cycle. Intelligent Lamp Control System Reduces Power Consumption
When the lamp power is set to Auto, the Intelligent Lamp Control system automatically adjusts the lamp output in accordance with the brightness of the projected image and reduces it by up to 58 %*. It also combines with color shift correction, which corrects the shift in the color balance that occurs when the lamp output drops. As a result, power consumption is effectively reduced while excellent color reproduction is maintained.
With the lamp power set to Auto. Eco Management Functions
A number of functions are provided to reduce power consumption. They adjust the brightness according to ambient light conditions, and reduce the lamp power when there is no signal input. You can easily set the Eco Management functions according to operating conditions by using the ECO button on the remote control. Easy Lamp and Air Filter Replacement
For easy maintenance, you can replace the filter from the side and the lamp from the top of the projector. The filter and lamp are easily replaced even after the projector is installed on the ceiling. Quiet 29-dB* Design Does Not Interrupt Meetings or Classes
The quiet design keeps noise levels down to 29 dB,* so the sound of the cooling fan is hardly noticeable. This helps the audience to keep their attention on the speech when someone is giving a presentation or on the screen images during quiet scenes.
With the lamp power set to Eco2. 31 dB with lamp power set to Eco1. 37 dB with lamp power set to Normal. Specifications

Panasonic PT-DX100EK DLP Projector - 1024x768, 10000 Lumens, 10,000;1, 3000Hrs, VGA, HDMI, RJ45 :: PT-DX100EK10,000 Lumens XGA Fixed Installation ProjectorPT-DX100EK Overview The Panasonic PT-DX100EK XGA Fixed Installation Projector has a powerful optical engine that produces a full 10,000 lumens of brightness for clear, high-quality images even in brightly lit rooms. With a host of user-friendly terminals and advanced management functions to provide highly reliability, hassle-free use, the Panasonic PT-DX100EK projector is ideal for a wide variety of applications, from education and business through to high-quality stage performances. A Bright 8,500 lm from a Compact Body
Panasonic's original dual-lamp system, with its new highly developed 420 W lamps, has helped to make the body compact while providing a full 10,000 lm of brightness. New Dynamic Iris for a High 10,000:1 Contrast Ratio1
Panasonic's new Dynamic Iris uses a scene-linking aperture mechanism to achieve a remarkable 10,000:11 contrast without lowering its high brightness. This helps to reproduce deeper, richer blacks, and provides images with more detailed textures. RGB Booster Significantly Improves Colour Reproduction
The RGB Booster achieves high image quality with levels of colour reproduction and brightness that make each colour stand out. It combines Panasonic's proprietary Vivid Colour Control technology with a newly engineered Lamp Modulation Drive System for a 1-chip DLP™ projector that produces bright and vivid colours.

Vivid Colour Control This unique control technology optimizes the use of the colour segment areas of the colour wheel. It increases the brightness of each RGB colour by minimizing the unallocated portions between the colours, to achieve truly vivid colouring.
Lamp Modulation Drive System With the advanced lamp modulation technology, the projector is able to control the lamp intensity for each of the red, green, blue, and white segments of the colour wheel separately. Because the actual light output is controlled in relation to each colour segment, light usage is optimized and colour balance is obtained without lowering the brightness. This results in bright vivid images with increased colour fidelity. Detail Clarity Processor Brings Depth and Clarity to Details
This advanced image-processing circuit analyzes the video signal frequency range for each scene by extracting data on the distribution of high, mid, and low-frequency components, and brings out fine details accordingly. The resulting images have a more natural, three-dimensional appearance with crisp, clear detail.
System Daylight View 2 for Enhanced Colour Perception
Image details are less clear when a projector is used in a room with the lights on. Panasonic's System Daylight View 2 improves brightness perception by adjusting sharpness, gamma curves, and colour corrections.
This produces crisper, more stunning images with vivid colours even under bright conditions. DICOM Simulation Mode
This imaging mode is similar to DICOM part 14, which is a medical imaging standard. It reproduces X-ray images with remarkable clarity. Dual-Lamp System Prevents Image Interruptions
Image interruptions reduce the hassle of maintenance. And, as an environmental consideration, the filter can be washed with water and reused.3
The Dual-Lamp System eliminates the need to interrupt a presentation if a lamp should burn out (in dual-lamp operation mode). The Lamp Relay mode also operates the lamps alternately to enable 24/7 projector operation.
Long life contributes to Low TCO
The PT-DX100EK projectors lower the total cost of ownership because they have a lamp replacement cycle of up to 4,000 hours.4 Waveform Monitor Function
When the output level of the source device fluctuates due to the performance of the device or its cable connections, the original black and white levels of the image content cannot be reproduced correctly. With the PT-DX100EK you can view the waveforms on the screen and adjust the settings either automatically or manually as you prefer. Flexible Installation
The wide adjustment range of the powered horizontal/vertical lens shift function assures convenience and versatility during installation. It lets you easily make adjustments with the remote control.
The unit can also be rotated 360 degrees vertically.
This means you can install it at any angle you want, to accommodate different installation conditions.
A Wide Range of Optional Lenses
Choose from a wide lineup of optional lenses for your system, including short-throw, long-throw zoom and fixed-throw lenses for rear projection use.
The additional lenses make it easy to adapt your projector to the installation site. The lenses attach and detach with one-touch ease. Lens-centered Design
A lens-centered, symmetrical design provides ease of installation, eliminating the need for any special considerations when planning the installation site. Active 3D Projection Capability
The series is compatible with both passive and active 3D projection systems. It combines with either a separate, external 100/120/144 Hz drive with IR emitter and active shutter glasses, or an active filter and passive glasses, for viewing 3D images. Multi-Screen Support System Seamlessly Connects Multiple Screens
The Multi-Screen Support System optimally adjusts multiple screens: Edge blending, colour matching and multi-screen processor. Edge Blending The edges of adjacent screens can be blended and their luminance controlled.
Colour Matching This function corrects for slight variations in the colour reproduction range of individual projectors.
Multi-Screen Processor The PT-DX100EK can project large, multi-screen images without any additional equipment. Up to 100 units (10 x 10) can be edge-blended at a time. Multi-Unit Brightness Control
This function automatically corrects the brightness fluctuations that occur over time in the individual projectors of a multi-screen system. A maximum of eight projectors can be controlled by connecting each other via a hub, and this can be increased to a maximum of 2,048 projectors by using "Multi Projector Monitoring & Control Software Ver. 2. Portrait Mode Capability (optional)5
DIGITAL LINK - The Single Cable Solution
Equipped with a DIGITAL LINK terminal, the PT-DX100EK allows transmission of HDMI, uncompressed HD digital video, audio and control signals (Ethernet, RS-232C) for up to 100 meters (328 feet) through a single CAT5e (STP) cable or higher. This simplifies cabling and system upgrades, making it ideal for ceiling-mounted and other permanent installations.
Learn more about Digital Link Filterless Dust-Resistant Optical Engine
A Heat-Pipe Cooling System Maintains Stable Operation up to 45°C6
A new optical cooling system featuring a heat pipe block suppresses temperature rises inside the projector and allows stable operation up to an ambient temperature of 45°C (113°F). The use of this heat-pipe cooling system also achieves quiet operation, enabling viewers to concentrate on the presentation or on quiet movie scenes. Dust-Resistant Optical Block
Versatile System Configurations Match a Variety of Applications
The wide-ranging terminals include 2 sets of RGB inputs (compatible with Y/PB/PR signals), an HDMI input, and a DVI-D input. A serial input/output terminal (RS-232C compliant) that allows remote operation from a PC, similar to that of a wireless remote control, and a remote terminal for input switching by contact control and standby ON/OFF operation also make it possible to configure a remote operation system. Multiple Temrinals with HD-SDI Capability
The PT-DX100EK has an array of terminals, including a DVI-D (HDCP compliant), to support a broad range of projection needs. Using the serial terminal (RS-232C), it is possible to connect and operate AMX and Crestron control systems with ease. In addition, the PT-DX100EK aaccommodates the HD/SD-SDI input signals that are widely used in broadcasting.
Easy Remote Monitoring and Control over a LAN
Web browser on a computer connected through a wired LAN system lets you remotely operate projectors and check their status.
An e-mail messaging function can also notify you when a lamp needs replacement, and indicate the overall projector status. PJLink™ Compatibility
The LAN terminals support PJLink™ class 1 connection. Control with the same specifications is also possible when used in a multi-projector system with projectors of another brand. Specifications:

helps to make this body compact while providing 10,000lm of brightness,
with 220-240V AC operation. When in 'Lamp Relay' mode, the system also
eliminates any interruptions if a lamp should fail and enables 24/7
projection. Panasonic's dynamic RGB booster also achieves high
image quality alongside excellent colour reproduction and brightness.
Similarly, a Detail Clarity Processor 3 brings further depth and clarity
to details. The projector's Dynamic Iris feature uses a
scene-linking aperture mechanism to achieve a remarkable 10,000:1
contrast without lowering its high brightness. This helps to reproduce
deeper, richer blacks, and provides images with more detailed textures. In
terms of maintenance and reliability, a dust-resistant optical block
prevents dust entry to maintain image quality and a new cooling
mechanism, featuring a heat-dissipating block that includes a heat pipe,
reduces wear and tear on the device. Combined with a lamp replacement
cycle of up to 3,000 hours, the projector delivers reduced ownership and
maintenance costs. For enhanced system integration, DIGITAL LINK
compatibility allows HDMI, uncompressed video, audio and control
signals to be delivered via a single LAN cable.

Panasonic ET-DLE030 Fixed Ultra Short :: ET-DLE030
Product Overview
By mounting the newly developed ET-DLE030 ultra-short-throw lens onto Panasonic's 1-chip DLP projector*, you can shorten the projection distance by approximately 60 % compared with our ET-DLE085 and ET-DLE080 short throw lenses. This huge savings in space lets you project images in spots where you previously could notsuch as places where the ceiling is too high, or where there is not enough front or rear space for projecting.
NOTE: In order to provide an exhaust/intake cooling space at the rear/front of the projector, an unobstructed space of 500 mm (19-11/16 in) or more for ventilation above is recommended to have. Please completely separate exhaust/intake air flow.
Application Example
The ET-DLE030 ultra-short-throw lens makes it possible to install projectors in spaces that were never before possible.
Thus applications greatly expand for digital signage in show windows, stores, train stations, and other locations.
Large images can be projected onto a screen at the back of a shallow show window without blocking the view of the products on display.
Projection onto a large screen becomes possible even in places where there wasn't previously enough space for front projection.
Dead space, such as pillars, can be used to save space compared to conventional installations.
Large-screen projection becomes possible in places where the ceiling was previously too high, or the stage was too shallow.
Amusement
Advanced image content can also be displayed in facilities where there previously wasn't enough space to install a projector, greatly increasing the power of the attraction.
Also, combined with projection from under the floor onto the floor surface, or projection onto the ceiling virtually wraps visitors in the image.

Panasonic RZ475EA FHD DLP Projector - 1920x1080, 3000 Lumens, 20000;1, 10Yrs Lamp Life (Eco2 Setting), 1xVGA, 1xHDMI, 1xDVI-I, 1xComposite, 1xSerial, 1xRJ45, Speakers :: PT-RZ475EA 1-Chip DPL Projector
PT-RZ475EA
Ideal for rear projection and extremely long-term continuous operation for use in monitoring/control rooms or digital signage.
Features:
The LED/Laser-Combined Light Source Enables Up to 10 Years of Continuous Operation
The new light source requires no maintenance for up to 10 years. In many cases, this means no maintenance until your next refresh cycle. Naturally, there are no lamp butnout problems during use, so reliability is further increased. there is also no filter to clean due to carefully engineered sealed optics.
Beautiful Picture Quality for a Long Period of Time with 24/7 Operation
The rate of rightness in th LED/Laser-combined light source is extremely slow compared to lamp-based projectors. The SOLID SHINE drive uses a built in sensor to constantly detect the intensity of the light source and correct corresponding changes in white balance. This all helps to maintain excellent picture quality for a long period of time. Contrast is outstanding too, at 20000:1, and images are reproduced with a wide dynamic range. There is no maintenance required because the PT-RZ475 does not use a lamp or air filter. And it has an efficient cooling system and dust-resistant structure, and uses a DLP chip that has a long life. Together, this makes the PT-RZ475 ideal for 24/7 operation.
Heat Pipe Cooling System Maintains Stable Operation up to 45 Degrees Celcius
Laser Cooling is performed by releasing the heat to cooling fins, then cooling with a heat pipe cooling system. This suppresses semperature rises inside the projector and allows stable operation up to an ambient temperature of 45 degrees celcius. The use of this heat-pipe cooling system also achieves quiet operation of 35 dB enabling viewers to concentrate on the presentation or on quiet movie scenes.
DIGITAL LINK Transmits Analog/Digital and control signals up to 100m with a Single Cable
By Combining the optional ET-YFB1000G Digital Interface Box, With its HDMI and other input terminals, uncompressed HD digital video, audio and control signals can be transmitted up to 100m over a single CAT5e cable or higher. It allows projector connection with only one cable, making it ideal for celing -mounted and other permanent installations. Also, because control signals can be simultaneously transmitted, the ET-YFB100G input signal can easily be switched with the wireless remote control that is included with the projector. The projector can be controlled by either LAN or serial communication

NOTES ON USE |
NOTES ON USE 1. Do not install the projector in locations that are subject to excessive water, humidity, steam, or oily smoke. Doing so may result in fire, malfunction, or electric shock. 2. Please observe the following precautions: Never place objects on top of the projector while it is in operation. Make sure there is an unobstructed space of 500 mm (1 ft 8 in) or more around the projector's exhaust openings. Do not stack projector units directly on top of one another for the purpose of multiple (stacked) projection. When stacking projector units, be sure to provide the recommended space between units. These space requirements also apply to installation where only one projector unit is operating at one time and the other unit is used as a backup. Make sure that nothing blocks the projector's air intake and exhaust openings. Also, install the projector so that cool or hot air from other air conditioning equipment does not flow directly toward the projector's air intake or exhaust openings. Do not install the projector in an enclosed space. If it is necessary to install it in an enclosed space, add a separate ventilation system. If ventilation is insufficient, hot air will accumulate at the intake opening. This may cause the projector's protective circuit to interrupt projector operation. If the projector is placed in a box, ensure that the projector's intake and exhaust openings are not blocked. Take particular care to ensure that hot air from the exhaust openings is not sucked into the intake openings. To install and use the projector via a method that does not use the adjustable feet in a floor standing installation, fix the projector using the four screw holes for ceiling mounting. (Screw diameter: M4, tapping depth inside the set: 10 mm, torque: 1.25 0.2 N-m) |

Panasonic PT-RZ370EA DLP Projector - 1920x1080, 3000 Lumens, 10,000;1, VGA, DVI, HDMI :: PT-RZ370EA PT-RZ370EA
Overview
Panasonic PT-RZ370 Series Non-Lamp Projectors use a LED/Laser-combined light source to change the way you work. The ideal solution for educational institutions, Panasonic's first lamp free projectors deliver an exciting new standard in professional reliability.
The LED/Laser-Combined Light Source Enables Approx. 20,000 Hours of Continuous Operation
This new light source requires no maintenance for approximately 20,000 hours. 1 In many cases, this means no maintenance until your next refresh cycle. Naturally, there are no lamp burnout problems during use, so reliability is further increased. There is also no filter to clean due to carefully engineered sealed optics.
As a consequence, running cost is dramatically lowered because of the savings on lamp costs, maintenance labor and hassle of stocking lamps.
24/7 Operation
Ordinary lamps are not well suited to continuous operation. Because the PT-RZ370 does not use a lamp, has an efficient cooling system and uses DLP chip that has a long life, they are capable of 24/7 operation.
Bright, Beautiful Picture Quality for a Long Period of Time
The PT-RZ370 features 3,500 lumens of brightness. The rate of brightness deterioration in the LED/Laser-combined light source is extremely slow compared to lamp-based projectors.
The SOLID SHINE drive uses a built-in sensor to constantly detect the light intensity of the light source and correct corresponding changes in white balance. This all helps to maintain excellent picture quality for a long period of time.
Contrast is outstanding too, at 10,000:1, and images are reproduced with a wide dynamic range. The PT-RZ370 also features a Full-HD (1,920 x 1,080) DLP chip, allowing highly detailed Full-HD images without resizing.
Superior Colour Reproduction
The LED/Laser-combined light source has a higher level of color purity than an ordinary lamp, allowing it to achieve color reproduction with wider color space. Colours are more vibrant than those of conventional projectors.
Rec. 709 Mode for HDTV Projection
Optimal colour reproduction can be achieved by selecting this mode, compliant with ITU-R Recommendation BT.709, when images from an HDTV source are projected.
30x Drive Switching Prevents Colour Breaking
In 1-chip DLP system projectors with conventional lamp, a colour wheel is used for time-division multiplexing in a method where the human eye combines the result to achieve a full-colour palette. In the PT-RZ370, this is done by on/off switching of the LED/Laser-combined light source. A unique Panasonic power supply circuit provides time-division multiplexing with ultrafast 30x drive.2 The resulting, high-definition images exhibit virtually no colour breaking.3
Heat Pipe Cooling System Maintains Stable Operation up to 45 C
Laser cooling is performed by releasing the heat to cooling fins, then cooling with a heat pipe cooling system. This suppresses temperature rises inside the projector and allows stable operation up to an ambient temperature of 45 C.4 The use of this heat-pipe cooling system also achieves quiet operation of 29 dB,5 enabling viewers to concentrate on the presentation or on quiet movie scenes.
A Dramatic Reduction of TCO (Total Cost of Ownership)
SOLID SHINE series projectors have swept away the weak points of conventional lamp-based projectors, providing superior Total Cost of Ownership and value.

Maintenance-Free
The new LED/Laser-combined light source in the SOLID SHINE Series projectors provides approximately 20,000 hours of operation with no lamp or filter replacement needed. This dramatically lowers maintenance costs and labor.
High Reliability
A highly durable system has been achieved with an originally designed, efficient cooling system for the new light source, and a dust-proof structure. You get stable operation and solid reliability for a long period of time.
Flexible Installation
System capabilities such as a 2x zoom lens, an exceptionally wide lens shift range, and 360-degree installation support highly flexible installation. DIGITAL LINK also enables long-distance digital transmission with a single cable.
DIGITAL LINK - The Single Cable Solution
Equipped with a DIGITAL LINK terminal, the PT-RZ370 allows transmission of HDMI, uncompressed HD digital video, audio and control signals (Ethernet, RS-232C) for up to 100 metres through a single CAT5e (STP) cable or higher. This simplifies cabling and system upgrades, making it ideal for ceiling-mounted and other permanent installations
Versatile First-Time and Replacement Installations
2x Zoom Lens
The 2x optical zoom lens provides a wide throw range.
For a 120-inch-diagonal wide screen, the projection distance extends from approximately 3.9 m to approximately 7.8 m.6
Lens-Centered Design
A lens-centered, symmetrical design provides ease of installation, eliminating the need for any special considerations when planning the installation site.
Horizontal / Vertical Lens Shift
The wide shift range accommodates various room sizes and shapes. When lights or ventilation holes are located in the ceiling mounting site, you can simply relocate the projector to avoid them.
Flexible 360-Degree Installation
The projectors can be rotated vertically. This means you can install one at any up-and-down angle you want, to accommodate different installation conditions.
Abundant Connection Terminals, Including HDMI
Interfaces include HDMI and DVI-I inputs. The serial terminal (RS-232C) has an Emulate function that lets you continue using existing control systems when replacing previous Panasonic models. It is also possible to output audio during STANDBY MODE. This is convenient when connecting an external audio system through the projector. A closed caption decoder is built in
Crestron RoomView and AMX Device Discovery
The LAN terminal allows a computer connected to the network to use Crestron RoomView application software to manage and control system devices. Besides, The AMX Device Discovery technology is built in the PT-RZ370.
Easy Remote Monitoring and Control over a LAN
Web browser on a computer connected through a wired LAN system lets you remotely operate projectors and check their status. An e-mail messaging function can also notify you the overall projector status.
In addition, Multi Projector Monitoring and Control Software is available for monitoring and controlling multiple Panasonic projectors from a single PC.
The wired LAN terminal is compatible with PJLink (class1), an open protocol that is used by many manufacturers, to enable integrated control of systems that contain different brands of projectors.
 DICOM Simulation Mode
This imaging mode is similar to DICOM part 14, which is a medical imaging standard. It reproduces X-ray images with remarkable clarity.
