Panasonic DMC-LX100GNK Lumix Digital Camera - Black - 12.8MP, 3.1x Optical Zoom, (24 - 75mm in 35mm Equivalent in 4;3, 3;2, 16;9), 3.0" TFT LCD, WiFi Certified Lumix Digital Camera: DMC-LX100GN
Approaching New Expressive Horizons
4/3-inch High Sensitivity MOS Sensor
The DMC-LX100 is designed to render its breathtaking gradation and rich textures in all their natural beauty. It newly incorporates a 4/3-inch large High Sensitivity MOS sensor with multiple aspect ratios. By keeping the resolution to 12.8-megapixel* (in 4:3 setting), the amount of light is maintained to improve the S/N ratio, making it possible to capture clear images with minimum noise even when shot at ISO25600. Take the DMC-LX100, with its stunning image quality packed into a compact body, everywhere you go.
Sensor total pixel is 16.8-megapixel.
Great Lens, Compact Body
F1.7-2.8 LEICA DC VARIO-SUMMILUX Lens
The newly developed LEICA DC VARIO-SUMMILUX lens boasts an F1.7-2.8 brightness, high speed and high detail and resolution corner-to-corner. The lens unit consists of 11 elements in 8 groups with 5 aspherical lenses including 2 ED lenses. To fit the camera body with its large 4/3-inch sensor, a new structure was designed that moves the entire lens group while Panasonic’s original centering technology enhances the lens alignment sharpness. This lens also produces stunningly beautiful defocusing together with the large MOS sensor.
A Supremely Creative Tool
Attractive Controls for Camera Enthusiasts
Turn the aperture ring with your left hand and operate the shutter speed dial with your right hand. These two controls adjust the exposure, which is critical for picture quality. Then aim the camera and look into the 2,764k-dot equivalent high resolution LVF (Live View Finder). Your right hand will naturally rest on the exposure compensation dial. With the DMC-LX100, the photographer and the camera quickly become one.
Where Functions Meet Effects
Versatile Creative Features
For more creative freedom, the DMC-LX100 integrates a variety of artistic functions. Its fully open aperture creates beautiful defocus effects, the slow shutter speed lets you leave attractive light traces in the image, and Creative Control filters can be added as desired. The Monochrome Filter of the Photo Style function enables expressive monochrome photography, and the Creative Control filters can be applied to panorama photos. Combining these and other functions allows virtually unlimited expression.
A New Form of Photo Expression
Capturing High-resolution Photos from 4K Video
Enjoy true-to-life, high-resolution 4K video recording*. It ushers in a new form of creative 4K Photo by letting you cut out magical moments in 3840 x 2160 8-megapixel equivalent from 4K video footage. Once the 4K Photo mode is entered, the luminance level is adjusted to 0-255, which is suitable for photos. You can also choose either 4:3 or 3:2 in addition to 16:9 with the aspect switch.
4K video can be recorded for up to 15 minutes. When recording videos in 4K, use a card rated as UHS Speed Class 3.
Smooth, Beautiful Defocus Effect
The newly developed LEICA DC VARIO-SUMMILUX lens features optimization of optical design and 5 aspherical glass lenses, which are made possible by Panasonic's unique aspherical lens mold technology. This combines with the large MOS sensor to give your photos a shallow depth of field with an impressive defocus effect featuring invisible edge lines and onion ring. The newly adopted 9-aperture diaphragm also helps to produce bokeh with a smooth, circular shape.
Advanced Image Processor Venus Engine
The Venus Engine features Multi Process NR, Three Dimensional Color Control and Aperture Filter to achieve high color reproduction and high resolution images with natural description. The combination of the High Sensitivity MOS sensor and the Venus Engine achieves stunning picture quality that rivals that of D-SLRs.
Multiple Aspect Ratios
The DMC-LX100 features multiple aspect ratio image recording. The Multi-aspect ratio function in LUMIX is "Multi-aspect" in the true sense because it lets you record images in the 4:3, 3:2 or 16:9 aspect ratio with the same angle of view. The aspect can be set quickly with the aspect switch on the lens barrel.
3cm Macro Shooting
Stunning macro shots can be shot with a minimum focusing distance of 3cm (wide) and 30cm (tele). You can shoot close-ups with the DMC-LX100 to express the spectacular details of flowers, insects and so on. POWER O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabilizer) effectively compensates for the handshake.
Control & Response
Analog-Like Operation
A variety of advanced functions are featured on the DMC-LX100 to expand the potential of advanced photographers. It allows direct, intuitive control with dedicated rings and dials such as the aperture ring, control ring for zooming or focusing, shutter speed dial and exposure compensation dial.
2,764k-dot Equiv. High Resolution LVF
The DMC-LX100 integrates an LVF (Live View Finder) with 2,764k-dot equivalent high resolution and approx. 100% color reproduction.* It assures stable framing and superb visibility even under strong sunlight. The Eye Sensor AF starts auto focusing by just looking into the LVF so you won't miss any shooting opportunities. A 3.0-inch 921k-dot rear monitor is also available.
Based on the Adobe RGB color space, Panasonic in-house comparison based on the CIE 1931 x, y color space.
Light Speed AF with DFD Technology
New DFD (Depth From Defocus) technology shortens the time to set focus. It instantaneously calculates the distance to the subject by evaluating 2 images with different sharpness levels. As a result, ultra high speed AF of approx. 0.14 sec* is achieved.
CIPA standard. The zoom position is in wide range. When using Live View Finder.
Fast Shutter Speed
High shutter speed at max. 1/4000 sec with a mechanical shutter enables you to capture spur-of-the-moment of fast moving subject. Max. 1/16000 sec with an electronic shutter lets you open the aperture even outdoors, and reduce washouts even under strong sunlight.
11 fps Burst Shooting
High-speed burst shooting is possible at 11 fps in full resolution. Together with a quick start-up and a short release time lag, the DMC LX100 will make sure you catch those fleeting shooting opportunities.
Focus Peaking Function with Control Ring
The Control Ring gives you intuitive manual focusing. For more practical control over focusing, the Focus Peaking function shows the peak of focus in MF and AF+MF mode. The Focus Peaking function is also available for remote photo/video shooting with a smartphone or tablet via Wi-Fi®.
Level Gauge
The Level Gauge lets the camera detect the horizontal / vertical angle of view which is convenient to make level in composition.
Aspect Bracket
The Aspect Bracket function lets the camera take an image in all aspect ratios – 4:3, 3:2, 16:9 and 1:1 – simultaneously.
WB Bracket
Taking advantage of digital photography, a WB (White Balance) bracket is available that records 3 images with different white balance parameters at a single shutter release.
Monochrome in Photo Style
The Monochrome Filter (Ye/Or/R/G) of the Photo Style function creates rich expression using the limited hues of monochrome images.
Multi Exposure
The Multi Exposure function lets you take up to 4 exposures in a single frame. You can layer subjects that wouldn't ordinarily appear in the same frame.
Highlight / Shadow Control
Highlight and shadow can be adjusted to achieve desired images without the use of image processing software. 3 patterns of settings can be customized in addition to 3 preset patterns (Higher Contrast, Lower Contrast, Brighten Shadow).
RAW Data Development in Camera
The DMC-LX100 can develop RAW-format images inside the camera, to adjust the following settings: Color Space Setting (sRGB / AdobeRGB), White Balance, Exposure Compensation, Photo Style, Intelligent D-range Control, Contrast, Highlight / Shadow, Saturation, Noise Reduction, Intelligent
Resolution, Sharpness
Creative Control / Creative Panorama
Creative Control filters let you add artistic and original expression to photos and videos. Now it is possible to apply one of these filters even in P/A/S/M mode. You can also create vertical / horizontal panoramic photos with a unique touch just by swiveling the camera.
[Filter Effects] Expressive, Retro, Old Days, High Key, Low Key, Sepia, Monochrome, Dynamic Monochrome, Rough Monochrome, Silky Monochrome, Impressive Art, High Dynamic, Cross Process, Toy Effect, Toy Pop, Bleach Bypass, Miniature Effect, Soft Focus, Fantasy, Star Filter, One Point Color, Sunshine

3LCD Technology
All Epson projectors are based on 3-chip LCD technology for amazing colour, incredible detail and solid reliability. 3LCDs 3-chip architecture dedicates an entire chip to process each primary colour red, green and blue, continuously. Unlike single-chip technology that delivers colour sequentially, you get full-time colour. The result is vibrant, realistic images and video all delivered with 3LCDs true-to-life colour.
Up to 3x Brighter Colours with Epson Projectors
Epson projectors use 3LCD Engines that have no colour wheel with a white segment and therefore don't force a tradeoff between white and colour brightness.
In fact, Epson projectors have up to 3x Brighter Colours than their leading competitive 1-chip DLP projectors*. If you are looking for business and education projectors or 720p home entertainment projectors, know that choosing Epson projectors means up to 3x brighter colours. If you are looking for 1080p home entertainment projectors, you consistently get 2x and up to 3x Brighter Colours than competitor 1-chip DLP projectors.
All Epson projectors list both White Brightness and Colour Brightness specifications, and all have high Colour Brightness.
Compared to leading 1-chip DLP business and education projectors based on NPD data, July 2011 through June 2012. Colour brightness (colour light output) measured in accordance with IDMS 15.4. Colour brightness will vary depending on usage conditions.
Maximise the display with split screen
Split Screen allows inputs from two separate sources to be displayed side by side on the same screen. For example, images from a document camera and PC could be projected at the same time.
Long Lasting low cost lamp
Enjoy up to 10,000 hours lamp life in ECO mode. The new lamp priced at $99 will offer lowered maintenance cost while delivering bright vivid images. Even when ceiling mounted changing the lamp is quick and easy thanks to the well placed access points.
Versatile Connectivity
Not only does the wide-ranging interface correspond with conventional analogue sources, it boasts two HDMI inputs. One of which also acts as a MHL (Mobile High Definition Link) terminal (HDMI 2 port).
MHL is an innovative technology allowing you to mirror high definition content and charge an Android device via a single MHL cable.
Horizontal Keystone Slider
The Horizontal Keystone slider allows for quick and easy adjustments to correct image distortion. With a single touch a broad range of placement options become available.
Epson iProjection App
Display and control content from your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch and Android devices with the Epson iProjection App and any nearby wireless or networked Epson projector. This free application allows road warriors to travel light and present from their mobile devices. For teachers, it makes it easy to walk around the class and still be able to share engaging content larger-than-life. The app is easy to use and navigate with intuitive menu options that make it simple to bring your content to the big screen (Optional ELPAP07 Wireless LAN Unit is required).
Conveniently collaborate with Multi PC Projection
The Multi-PC Projection feature allows a network of up to 50 PCs to be connected to a single projector. The newest version of this feature allows a host PC to act as a Moderator who can then select up to 4 of the connected devices to be projected on the screen. The Moderator function allows the user to control what image is projected on the screen and prevent tampering.
Advanced Networking
With the EB-945H, its possible to monitor and control networked Epson projectors from a remote location. Schedule power on or off timings, check projector status and receive maintenance alerts. Users can even project presentations in up to four rooms from one networked location. This is possible both over a wired connection (RJ45) and wirelessly (via optional wireless LAN unit ELPAP07).
Control4 support
The new EB-945H now comes with Control4 SDDP (Simple Device Discovery Protocol) automation technology offering wider range of connectivity.
Turning the projector ON, lowering the screen, dimming the lights, controlling speaker volume, and performing other tasks can be all automated by simply selecting options on the classroom computer screen.
Additionally, EB-945H can also be controlled and managed with AMX, Crestron and Extron technology.
Auto Power on
The EB-945H comes with an Auto Power feature, providing a quick start to any meeting or class. To start automatically, simply connect to a source device via VGA while the projector is in standby. There is no need to reach for the power button or go looking for the remote control.

Panasonic PT-DW740ES Fixed Installation DLP Projector - 1280x800, 7000 Lumens, 2500:1, DVI, HDMI 7,000 Lumens WUXGA Fixed Installation Projector
PT-DW740ES
The Panasonic PT-DW740ES WUXGA Fixed Installation Projector uses a unique optical engine to produce a full 7,000 lumens of brightness for clear, high-quality images even in light rooms. With a host of user-friendly terminals and advanced management functions to provide highly reliable, hassle-free use, the Panasonic PT-DW740ES is ideal for a wide variety of applications, from education and business to stage performance. Available in Black or Silver.
A Bright 7,000 lm from a Compact Body
The new lamp drive system has helped to make the body compact while providing high brightness of 7,000 lm for the PT-DW740.
RGB Booster Significantly Improves Colour Reproduction
The RGB Booster achieves high image quality with levels of colour reproduction and brightness that make each colour stand out. It combines Panasonic's proprietary Vivid Colour Control technology with a newly engineered Lamp Modulation Drive System for a 1-chip DLP™ projector that produces bright and vivid colours.
Vivid Colour Control
This unique control technology optimizes the use of the colour segment areas of the color wheel. It increases the brightness of each RGB colour by minimizing the unallocated portions between the colours, to achieve truly vivid colouring.
Lamp Modulation Drive System
With the advanced lamp modulation technology, the projector is able to control the lamp intensity for each of the red, green, blue, and white segments of the colour wheel separately. Because the actual light output is controlled in relation to each colour segment, light usage is optimized and colour balance is obtained without lowering the brightness. This results in bright vivid images with increased colour fidelity.
Detail Clarity Processor Brings Depth and Clarity to Details
This advanced image-processing circuit analyzes the video signal frequency range for each scene by extracting data on the distribution of high, mid, and low-frequency components, and brings out fine details accordingly. The resulting images have a more natural, three-dimensional appearance with crisp, clear detail.
System Daylight View 2 for Enhanced Colour Perception
Image details are less clear when a projector is used in a room with the lights on. Panasonic's System Daylight View 2 improves brightness perception by adjusting sharpness, gamma curves, and colour corrections.
This produces crisper, more stunning images with vivid colours even under bright conditions.
DICOM Simulation Mode
This imaging mode is similar to DICOM part 14, which is a medical imaging standard.
It reproduces X-ray images with remarkable clarity.1
Eco Filter that Needs No Maintenance for up to 12,000 Hours
The original Eco Filter consists of two Micro Cut Filters (electrostatic filters), a pre-filter and a main filter, which use an ion effect to collect extremely small dust particles. The pre-filter has a honeycomb configuration and the main filter is pleated to achieve a large surface area that raises its dust collecting performance.
Thanks to these features, the Eco Filter has a replacement cycle of up to 12,000 hours,2 which reduces the hassle of maintenance. And, as an environmental consideration, the filter can be washed with water and reused.
Dual-Lamp System Prevents Image Interruptions
The Dual-Lamp System eliminates the need to interrupt a presentation if a lamp should burn out (in dual-lamp operation mode). The Lamp Relay mode also operates the lamps alternately to enable 24/7 projector operation.
Easy Replacement of Filter and Lamp
An Eco Filter is replaced from the side and lamps are replaced from the back panel. Both of them are replaced very easily even after the projector is installed on the ceiling.
Flexible Installation
The wide adjustment range of the powered horizontal/vertical lens shift function assures convenience and versatility during installation.
It lets you easily make adjustments with the remote control.
The unit can also be rotated 360 degrees vertically.
This means you can install it at any angle you want, to accommodate different installation conditions.
A Wide Range of Optional Lenses
Choose from a wide lineup of optional lenses for your system, including short-throw, long-throw zoom and fixed-throw lenses for rear projection use. The additional lenses make it easy to adapt your projector to the installation site. The lenses attach and detach with one-touch ease.
Lens-centered Design
A lens-centered, symmetrical design provides ease of installation, eliminating the need for any special considerations when planning the installation site.
Multi-Screen Support System Seamlessly Connects Multiple Screens
The Multi-Screen Support System optimally adjusts multiple screens: Edge blending, color matching and multi-screen processor.
Edge Blending
The edges of adjacent screens can be blended and their luminance controlled.
Colour Matching
This function corrects for slight variations in the colour reproduction range of individual projectors.
Multi-Screen Processor
The PT-DW740 can project large, multi-screen images without any additional equipment. Up to 100 units (10 x 10) can be edge-blended at a time.
Side-by-Side Function
The PT-DW740 can simultaneously display images from two sources onto a single screen.4 For example, you can display a PC image on the left and a video image on the right.
Taking advantage of the wide-screen projection, this function gives you a host of new application possibilities to explore.
Versatile System Configurations Match a Variety of Applications
The wide-ranging terminals include 2 sets of RGB inputs (compatible with Y/PB/PR signals), an HDMI input, and a DVI-D input. A serial input/output terminal (RS-232C compliant) that allows remote operation from a PC, similar to that of a wireless remote control, and a remote terminal for input switching by contact control and standby ON/OFF operation also make it possible to configure a remote operation system.
Easy Remote Monitoring and Control over a LAN
Web browser on a computer connected through a wired LAN system lets you remotely operate projectors and check their status.
An e-mail messaging function can also notify you when a lamp needs replacement, and indicate the overall projector status.
Crestron RoomView™ and AMX Device Discovery
The LAN terminal allows a computer connected to the network to use Crestron RoomView™ application software to manage and control system devices. Besides, The AMX Device Discovery technology is built into the PT-DW740.
1. This product is not a medical instrument. Do not use it for actual medical diagnosis.
