Suitable for a wide range of scenes from portrait to landscape photography, the new LUMIX G VARIO 14-45mm/F3.5-5.6 ASPH/MEGA O.I.S. lens offers an zoom range of 14-45mm (35mm equivalent: 28-90mm) while featuring its ultra-compact size and light weight. The aspheric lens element also improves optical performance by minimizing distortion, even at the 28mm wide end.
 
The LUMIX G VARIO 14-45mm/F3.5-5.6 ASPH/MEGA O.I.S. lens incorporates Panasonic's Mega O.I.S. optical image stabilizer, which makes it easy to shoot super clear shots even in low-lit situations by suppressing the blur caused by a hand shake.
 
With its minimum focus distance of 30 cm even at full zoom, the new lens provides a maximum photographic magnification of 0.34x (35mm equivalent). Seven aperture blades give the aperture a rounded shape that, when shooting at larger aperture, produces an attractive smoothness in out-of-focus areas. Featuring a highly reliable metal mount, the new lens system uses multi-coated lens elements that reduce ghosts and flare to an absolute minimum, helping deliver a high optical performance.

1" Exmor R® CMOS sensor w/ Direct Pixel Read Out
 
The Exmor R® CMOS sensor realizes astonishingly smooth, finely detailed images by reading out every pixel’s signal from the image sensor at accelerated speed. Larger sensors generally have to thin out part of the vertical pixel’s signal, however this model can process the full signal thanks to the combination of 1.0-inch sensor and BIONZ X processor.

Versatile shooting w/ XAVC S, AVCHD and MP4 codecs
 
The FDR-AX100 records HD movies in the XAVC S* format, which uses MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 for video compression and linear PCM for audio compression, while saving files in a MP42 wrapper. The highly compressed files allow extensive record times. The camcorder also records in AVCHD, ideal for quality video for HDTV and Blu-ray disc burning. Additionally, the camcorder can shoot MP4 HD video, which is ideal for sharing over the internet at up to 28Mbps. Having the ability to switch between all three of three formats makes this camcorder an ideal tool that is versatile for creating content to live in a number of different environments.

By mounting the newly developed ET-DLE030 ultra-short-throw lens onto Panasonic's 1-chip DLP projector*, you can shorten the projection distance by approximately 60 % compared with our ET-DLE085 and ET-DLE080 short throw lenses.
This huge savings in space lets you project images in spots where you previously could notsuch as places where the ceiling is too high, or where there is not enough front or rear space for projecting.
 
 
The Ultra-Short-Throw Lens Solves “Space” Issues and Adds High Brightness
 
NOTE: In order to provide an exhaust/intake cooling space at the rear/front of the projector, an unobstructed space of 500 mm (19-11/16 in) or more for ventilation above is recommended to have. Please completely separate exhaust/intake air flow.

The ET-DLE030 ultra-short-throw lens makes it possible to install projectors in spaces that were never before possible.
