Overview
This Reader/Writer is a handy accessory that allows you to use the mSATA SSD or the CFast card as a removable media on any computer. Designed to connect to system externally via eSATA or the SuperSpeed USB 3.0 port, this Reader/Writer ensures maximum performance from the mSATA or the CFast card.
The Reader/Writer comes bundled with two adapters for the mSATA and CFast card respectively. The adapter converts the mSATA or the CFast media into a 1.8" micro SATA storage device that can be inserted into the open slot of the Reader/Writer. The hundled eSATAp cable allows the unit to be directly powered from eSATAp (hybrid eSATA/USB) port or from USB port via the Addonics USB 3.0 - eSATAp adapter. The device is fully plug and play with no software driver to install.
1.8" micro SATA SSD or hard drive can also be directly inserted into the device slot. With the optional micro SATA-CF adapter, this device can also be used to to read write to standard CF media
