The MW870UST comes with enhanced audio support for your classroom. Two 10W speakers are sealed and secured within each side of the projector with BenQ's anti-shake design to deliver 20W crisp-clear audio performance with stable projection. The microphone input connects the projector to a conventional microphone or microphone headset for increased ease of teaching and learning.

Calibration-Free Interactivity

PC-Less Teaching

To make a teacher's job easier, the MW870UST supports PC-less teaching in two ways: USB Drive Display and Remote Desktop.

USB Drive Display allows teachers to teach light with a USB flash drive. All they need to do is save the files they need onto a USB flash drive and insert it in the MW870UST to start teaching. File types supported are JPEG, JPG, BMP, PNG, GIF and TIFF.

Remote Desktop grants teachers remote access to files stored in their computers with a wireless mouse and keyboard via LAN connection. With this handy feature, there will be no need for a classroom computer – which means more money saved on computer purchase, maintenance and repair for your school.

The DMC-FT5 is waterproof to depth of 13m/43ft and dustproof equivalent to the "IPX8" and "IP6X" standard. It is also shockproof droppable from a height up to 2.0m/6.6ft, freezeproof that endure the temperature as low as -10C/14F, and comprehends pressure resistance of 100kgf/220lbf. It newly adopts an anti-fog glass to prevent from being fogged with steam. Take out the camera to fishing, camping, diving, snorkeling, surfing, climbing, skiing or snowboarding The DMC-FT5 is an all-year-round active field player to record stunning memories.

The DMC-FT5 can record high-resolution full HD 1,920 x 1,080 videos with stunning smoothness at 50p in AVCHD Progressive and 25p in MP4. The videos also come with the high-quality stereo sound of Dolby Digital and a stereo microphone with zoom noise reduction. The Time Lapse Shot is advanced for DMC-FT5. Once the start time, the interval and the number of picture to shoot are set, the camera will automatically shoot images and those images can be combined in a camera to produce a time lapse video.

The DMC-FT5 integrates Wi-Fi connectivity and NFC technology. NFC lets users connect the camera with a smartphone/tablet by just placing them nearby and follow the simple guidance. With "Panasonic Image App", users can enjoy remote shooting, easy SNS upload, and Instant Transfer, which allows the camera to automatically transfer data to the designated electronic devices. Transferring data to PC is available via wireless access point (router) at home. The Wi-Fi Direct allows direct playback of images on some of the DLNA-compliant VIERA HDTV.

The GPS complies with GLONASS to further enhance its accuracy. It shows the name of the Country/Region, State/Prov./County, County/Township, City/Town/Village, and worldwide landmark information. The photos and videos with the location names are automatically sorted in the camera for quick reach and newly added logging function allows memorizing travelling distance which can be displayed on the Google Earth application. Compass, altimeter and even barometer are adopted for active outdoor use.

The new 16.1-megapixel High Sensitivity MOS sensor is integrated in the DMC-FT5 to further enhances its high performance signal processing. Wavelet NR (Noise Reduction) system in the Venus Engine enables deliberate noise reduction process without missing low-frequency noise by enlarging its detection area. It results in the high sensitivity image with reduced blur even at high ISO settings. The Advanced Underwater Mode with Red Color Reproduction compensates for the red color which is easily lost in underwater shooting.

24mm Ultra Wide-Angle Lens

The DMC-FH10 packs a 24mm ultra wide-angle lens with 5x optical zoom* into a slim, compact body. The 24mm gives you a wider range of composition possibilities with approximately 213% larger viewing space compared to that of a 35mm camera.

5X Wide-Angle Optically Stabilized Zoom

8x Intelligent Zoom

When you need to get even closer to your subject, the Intelligent Zoom is an extensive zoom function that uses digital zoom technology with minimum deterioration of image quality. The 5x optical zoom can virtually extend to an 8x zoom equivalent.

HD Video Capture

The DMC-FH10 records HD video in Motion JPEG format (1,280 x 720 pixels at 30 fps). Video recording can be easily started with the press of the Motion Picture Button making it convenient for switching between photo and video shooting instantly.

QuickTime Motion JPEG. n Some lens movement sounds may be recorded. In Motion Picture Mode, the length of recording time depends on the capacity of the SD/SDHC/SDXC Memory Card. (Up to the equivalent of 2 GB per video recording.) Motion pictures can be recorded continuously up to 2 GB. The maximum available recording time for up to 2 GB only is displayed on the screen. Use a card with SD Speed Class* with "Class 6" or higher when recording motion images. SDHC Memory Cards and SDXC Memory Cards can be used only in equipment that is compatible with their respective formats. If the computer being used does not support SDXC Memory Cards, a message prompting you to format may appear. (Doing so will cause recorded images to be erased so do not choose to format.) SDXC Logo is a trademark of SD-3C,LLC.

*SD speed class is the speed standard regarding continuous writing.

Panorama Shot

Panorama Shot Scene Mode makes it possible to shoot a wide horizontal/vertical panoramic image with consecutive shots, by overlaying the previous picture. The multiple images are stitched together to create one single wide image capturing your scene.

MEGA O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabilizer)

The MEGA O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabilizer) compensates for hand-shake that causes blurred photos. Even slight hand-shake movement is accurately detected and compensated for to produce sharp, clear images.
