Night Vision
The built-in IR (infrared) LEDs and light sensor make this Edimax network camera perfect for capturing crisp and clear videos in low light conditions. It automatically switches to night vision mode and turns on the IR LEDs to illuminate the monitored area when it gets dark, ensuring that you get video footage of critical moments both in daylight and at night.
Motion-Triggered Snapshots & Recording
The powerful multi-area motion detection system built into this network camera ensures that you have evidence of a criminal event as soon as it occurs. You can pre-define multiple areas in the monitored range for motion detection; and when motion is detected in the specified areas, this network camera will produce snapshots or video footage of the criminal event immediately.

The unit has H.264 video compression for fast, efficient recording and playback. You can also adjust the frame rate and image resolution with real-time recording on all 4 channels (30fps per channel, 120 fps total) and the ability to adjust the recording settings for each camera to the resolution you choose from 352 x 240 pixels (CIF) up to 704 x 480 pixels (D1). The four Day / Night Cameras provide clear video through their clear resolution 400 TV Lines 1/4" Super CMOS image sensors with night vision up to 32 feet and the ability to operate indoors and outdoors.
A massive 500GB SATA hard drive is pre-installed to allow up to 120 days+ of continuous recording from all 4 cameras. You can also record for longer, save time and hard drive space using the DVR4-1200's advanced motion activated recording. Even better, the time and date are integrated into your video files, allowing you to find incident footage and transfer events to a USB flash drive for easy storage and retrieval when the time is right. You can also configure the DVR to send you email alerts when activity is detected for peace of mind, all the time.
Easily set-up remote viewing with Swann's UPnP (Universal Plug n Play) technology that automatically configures the DVR to your router (if your router has UPnP capability) and the internet. Knowing what's happening is easier than ever with VGA connection for viewing on your PC or LCD monitor (with VGA input) or view on your existing TV using the video cable in the pack.

For your convenience the app is also included on a disk in the pack. Once Swannview is installed on your Smartphone, put the DVR's IP address into the browser and in less than a minute you can view video from all 4 cameras live onscreen.
