Building on the success of the Powermonkey-eXplorer Classic, the new generation Powermonkey eXplorer V2 introduces the same nifty and practical features in a bright, colorful package.

The Powermonkey eXplorer V2 is available in four vibrant colors: Hot Pink, Sunshine Yellow, Storm Cloud Grey and Electric Blue, and arrives in a clear, crystal-like box (which doubles as a storage case).

Incorporating the Solarmonkey solar charger, the Powermonkey-eXplorer V2 lets you recharge anywhere.

Whether at home, or abroad, the Powermonkey-eXplorer is compatible with the majority of mobile phones, iPods, MP3 / MP4, PDAs and portable games consoles including the Sony PSP and Nintendo DS & DS-Lite. It will give you 96 hours of standby on your mobile, 40 hours on your iPod, 5 hours on your games console, 48 hours on your PDA and 6 hours on MP3/MP4 players.

This versatile charger can be powered up three ways; via its portable solar charger, the universal mains charger or via USB cable (both included).

The eXplorer V2 kit includes a useful Velcro strap, enabling the Solarmonkeyto be attached to a backpack, hung from a window or secured anywhere the sun shines. Even use theSolarmonkey solar charger to put power directly into your device: simply plug thesolar panel into the device it will run off power from the sun.

Protected by a sleek rubberized casing, the eXplorer is water resistant and robust, yet extremely lightweight.

The LCD screen displays battery capacity and the level of charge. Safety includes short-circuit protection, over-charge protection and anti-discharge protection. The mains charger (included) has interchangeable heads for use in over 150 countries around the world.
