The Addonics Embedded 44-pin IDE-CF adapter, with choice of single slot or dual slots, is an ideal solution for industrial PC, embedded system or applications that require a simple and economical bootable CF slot. Designed to plug directly onto the 44-pin IDE port of any processor board, the small form factor of this adapter can be easily mounted inside any system. The Embedded Dual CF-IDE Adapter contains a second CF slot for the slave position of the IDE channel, allowing increased storage capacity with the same low power consumption and solid state benefits of the CF card standard.

The unique CF - SATA HDD Adapter is designed to enable Compact Flash (CFI/II) media to be used as a direct replacement for a 2.5" SATA hard drive. As a result, any equipment, such as Notebook computer, that uses a 2.5" SATA hard drive can be easily converted to use the low power and shock resistant CF media, just like a SATA solid state drive (SSD). Once installed, the CF appears as an ordinary SATA hard drive to any OS and can be configured as a boot device.
